Gender Bender

 A man makes a pass at a woman in a club.

She walks away from him. A moment later, a woman flirts with him. He ignores her at first, but when she touches his hand, he is suddenly very interested. They kiss and she leads him off.
Later she gets out of his bed. He suddenly has trouble breathing and falls dead with foam coming out of his mouth. The woman he was just with transforms into a man. This new man puts the dead man’s clothes on and leaves. 

Mulder has found that several murders with the same method have been happening.

The first death occurred in town called Stevenson where a peculiar religious group lives. A white clay used in pottery by this group only comes from their area. The white clay was also in scratches on the latest victim’s body. They are off to Stevenson to investigate.

A group of the Kindred come into town.

Scully tries to talk with one of the younger men. He tells her he is not supposed to talk to others. Scully shakes his hand and suddenly feels odd. She knows there is something going on with the Kindred.

 Scully and Mulder get lost in the woods trying to find the Kindred settlement. They are suddenly surrounded by the Kindred. The Kindred insist they leave their guns before going any further. Mulder and Scully really have no choice.

 After leaving the Kindred, Mulder and Scully sneak back to the settlement.

There Mulder follows them into a cave where he watches an odd ceremony and burial of one of the Kindred.

 Scully is spotted by the young man she talked with earlier. He tells her he knows who the killer is. It is his friend who was lured by some magazines to leave them and experience the world and its desires. While telling Scully this, he touches her. She seems to be under some kind of spell and nearly falls into bed with him. Mulder breaks in just in time.

 As they try to leave they are confronted by the rest of the Kindred. They are allowed to leave. Scully is still sick from whatever affected her.

 They manage to find the killer.

As they are about to capture him, the Kindred appear. They take the killer and disappear into the night. The settlement is also abandoned and the cave filled with cement.

The only sign left is a crop circle. Were the Kindred aliens?
