Season One Disc Four

Lazarus

 Scully is on a stakeout at a bank.

They are waiting for a bank robbery. The bank robber shoots Scully’s FBI friend and Scully shoots the robber.

The bank robber is dead.

The doctors give up on the FBI agent but Scully insists they continue. As they shock the FBI agents body, the robber’s body also reacts on the table across the room. Miraculously, the FBI agent comes back to life.

 The FBI agent is not acting like himself. He seems to act more like the robber that he had been tracking for months. 

 Mulder believes his body may have been taken over by the robber’s spirit.

The robber, as the FBI agent, looks for and finally finds his partner who was also his girlfriend and lover. Scully is captured while trying to help her FBI agent friend. The FBI agent had been diabetic and is suffering from hypoglycemia.

It turns out that the robber’s partner had been the one that informed on him. She wants to get rid of him. She will not allow Scully to give insulin to the FBI agent/ robber.

 Is Mulder’s belief that the wrong man returned from the dead correct?
